If I want something I can ask for it.
And because I will always have everything I need, I don’t need to worry about whether or not I’ll get it. I can wholeheartedly accept the possibility that I won’t get it. That frees me to ask for anything and to enjoy waiting to see whether or not that’s the thing I need.
Pursuing wants can be fun and fascinating when my wants are not tied to, or confused with, my needs.
When I think I need my wants, I suffer. When I’m clear I can enjoy the suspense: will I get it?
Yes? Fascinating!
No? Fascinating!
