My job here is not to win but to love.

My job here is not to win, but to LOVE

Loving is the only win.

It’s the only way I’ve ever won. It’s the only win I’ve ever had.

Every “victory” I’ve ever achieved through stress or fear or division ended up feeling worse than a loss.

Telling someone off, avoiding someone, shutting someone down, beating someone up, trying to please someone or rejecting someone cruelly (whether that someone was me or someone else), has always resulted in my own pain and suffering. It leaves me feeling scared or sick or confused or out of sync with the world and my true nature. Even at the same moment I’m feeling triumphant.

And every time I have succeeded at loving someone just for the joy of loving them, regardless of their actions, the result has always been joy, contentment and a sense of alignment with my true nature and the world

If that’s not winning, I don’t know what is.

So I seek to let go of the idea of “victory over others” or “over situations” in favor of “love towards others in every situation by focusing all my attention on the Truth of the situation and the Truth of the person in front of me.

The result of which is always love.
