Everything hangs around until I meet it with love.
Dangerous people,
Ugly body shapes,
Spoiled kids,
Annoying parents,
Bad hair,
Horrible bosses,
Backstabbing friends,
Judgmental neighbors,
Cracked paint,
Aching joints,
Upset stomachs,
Failed attempts,
Unacceptable past,
Terrifying future,
Stupid me,
Everything.
It’s all just waiting to be loved.
And it’ll all stay in my life until I can love it.
When I start to love it, it begins to transform.
First, love removes the adjective:
People,
Body shapes,
Kids,
Parents,
Hair,
Bosses,
Friends,
Neighbors,
Paint,
Joints,
Stomachs,
Attempts,
Past,
Future,
Me,
Then love replaces the adjective:
Loved people,
Loved body shapes,
Loved kids,
Loved parents,
Loved hair,
Loved bosses,
Loved friends,
Loved neighbors,
Loved paint,
Loved joints,
Loved stomachs,
Loved attempts,
Loved past,
Loved future,
Loved me,
And then the experience of love is so incredible that love even replaces the noun:
Loved love
Loved love
Loved love
Loved love
Loved love
Loved love
Loved love
Loved love
Loved love
Loved love
Loved love
Loved love
Loved love
Loved love
Loved love
Until all that’s left is love loving love itself (the true nature of reality).
