I do not need other peoples’ goals to align with mine.

A goal that requires the support or participation of other people is not an attainable goal by me (except by chance). It’s a want. A wish. A hope. A longing. Not an attainable goal. Because it’s not working in my business.

People have their own ideas, their own perceptions, wants, wishes, hopes, longings, goals.

When they align with mine, I am grateful for the chance alignment. When they don’t align with mine, I am grateful for the difference, the diversity, for the way of it.

When I think I NEED other people’s goals to align with mine, I create hell for myself.

So, when I am sane, I move through the world free and independent - pursuing my own goals and letting those who follow follow and those who oppose oppose - because that is the only way I can stay totally connected, the only way I can love what is, the only way I can love rejection as much as acceptance, because both are the way of it and the way of it is eternally benevolent.

If I can joyfully pursue something even though

  • no one knows about it

  • everyone is confused by it

  • everyone turns their back on me because of it.

  • everyone actively tries to block it.

...without losing an ounce of love for myself or anyone else, then that is something I can do.
